Mariah Collins Chosen As MACJC All-Star

Meridian Community College Basketball player Mariah Collins has been chosen to the play in the annual Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges All-Star Basketball game. Collins, a Sophomore guard from Romeoville, Illinois, will represent the Lady Eagles in the contest which will take place on April 12.

Collins helped lead the Lady Eagles to a 9-14 record during the 2018-19 season. She averaged 7.1 points per game and 4.1 assists per game. Collins will play on the South team during the MACJC All-Star game. The game featuring sophomore players from around the state will be played in Brackeen-Wood Gymnasium at East Central Community College. The North Division women and South Division women will face off at 5 p.m.
