82 Eagles Recognized as Academic All-MACCC Honorees for 2025-26
MERIDIAN, Miss. – Meridian Community College Athletics celebrated another successful year in the classroom as 82 student-athletes earned Academic All-MACCC recognition for the 2025-26 academic year, including 32 Distinguished Academic All-State honorees and 50 Academic All-MACCC selections.
Student-athletes earning Distinguished Academic All-State recognition maintained a cumulative grade point average between 3.80 and 4.00, while Academic All-MACCC honorees posted a cumulative GPA between 3.25 and 3.79.
The Eagles also continued to excel collectively in the classroom as seven athletic programs finished the academic year with a team grade point average of 3.00 or higher. Women's Tennis led all MCC programs with a 3.70 GPA, followed by Softball (3.55), Men's Tennis (3.39), Women's Soccer (3.27), Baseball (3.22), Men's Soccer (3.18) and Volleyball (3.05).
