Lady Eagles Announce 2026 Volleyball Schedule, Season Tickets Now on Sale
MERIDIAN, Miss. – Meridian Community College has announced its 2026 women's volleyball schedule as the Lady Eagles prepare for their third season of competition. The 31-match slate features eight home contests inside Graham Gymnasium, with season tickets now available for purchase.
Under the direction of head coach Alex Schimelpfening, who enters his third season at the helm of the program, Meridian returns six players from last year's squad while welcoming nine newcomers. Schimelpfening will once again be joined on the sidelines by assistant coaches Courtney Schimelpfening and Julia Espinoza as the Lady Eagles look to make an impact during the 2026 campaign.
Meridian opens the season at the Alabama/Mississippi Battle, hosted by Itawamba Community College in Fulton, Mississippi. The Lady Eagles will compete in four matches during the event before continuing a challenging non-conference schedule that includes road contests and tournament play.
The Lady Eagles will make their home debut on Wednesday, Sept. 2, welcoming East Central Community College to Graham Gymnasium for a non-conference matchup.
Conference play consists of 10 MACCC matches as Meridian continues its pursuit of success against one of the nation's premier junior college volleyball conferences. In addition to conference competition, the Lady Eagles will also compete in the LBW Crossover and the Gulf Shores Tournament as part of their 2026 schedule.

With the schedule now finalized, 2026 Meridian Community College Volleyball season tickets are officially on sale. Season ticket packages, which include admission to all eight home matches, are available for $63 and can be purchased online at mcceagles.com/tickets.
Individual game tickets are also available for purchase online for $8 per match, while tickets will be available at the door for $10 on match days.
The Lady Eagles look forward to welcoming Eagle fans back to Graham Gymnasium this fall for another exciting season of Meridian Community College volleyball.
